Can't believe we are almost done shooting...
One thing I have learned on this shoot...when it comes time for a fight...guys are too polite and are too worried that they will hurt Danielle during a fight scene while girls will tackle her at the drop of a hat...
And here is a bit of odd news...this is a painting I did back in 04 and it is getting some exposure at the IPFW Faculty show...it is from the book I am trying to get published...the scale is 8 feet wide by 4.25 feet high...

Hey Allen! Long time no hear! I dig the faculty show painting...very goth and spooooky, and HUGE...it takes a lot to paint something so detailed and at such a big scale. For that dress, I'm going to use jacquard, unless I find some cheap silk (not likely.) My guild is pretty picky about period-accurate fabrics, and while jacquard technically isn't period ("jacquard" describes the method by which the fabric is manufactured), the prints, sheen, and weight is. I prefer jacquard on my historical dresses because of the drape, and it's also washable and on the cheaper side :-). In case you ever think of using it in a film, the best place to go for the stuff are home decorator/upholstery stores :-).
And you say that I am disturbed, look at what is going on in your head! No, I like it, it looks great!
I saw the painting the other day, its awesome!
Thanks guys...it is a rather dark image...but darn it all..I believe that if you look close enough, you will see hope in the eyes of the central figure...
Of course, I have partied with every single one of those blokes...
at some time or another...
I'll take photos at the opening this Friday.
that is AMAZING...I love it!
Did I say 'blokes'? I've been reading too many or Mark and Michael's posts...I meant 'dudes'.
Blokes is good :)
