Thanks. Had a lot of fun with it. As the Drifter becomes angry, the eyes will emit small sparks. When he moves and bends, the cracks in his flesh will open to reveal the magma-like interior.
I always loved the eyes of Molasar in Michal Mann's film version of The Keep. This creature kind of reminds me of that ! http://www.the-keep.ath.cx/images/TK-195.jpg
I do like the Michael Mann movie,it has great atmosphere, but as F Paul Wilson said, it gets to the point where Glaeken arrives and the next minute he's in bed with Eva. I love the book, the fact that they play Rasalom/Molasar off as a Vampire. I really love the foolow on books too. There's a film called The Keep listed on IMDB for 2009 but there's no other info but for the title ?!?!
I loved the feel of it too. I just wish we could have seen what happened to the Nazis instead of just the aftermath. I would like Michael Mann to redo it. With the exception of Band of the Hand, I think he is highly under rated. Afterall, he directed "Last of the Mohicans" which was fantastic...except for the 'fake rock' scene and the 'waterfall' scene.
I haven't seen The Keep for years but I remember it creeped me out. A pretty good attempt at a big story on a tiny budget. Didn't know about the books so I'll check those out.

I can see that...I've always wanted someone to do a remake of that film, but to keep the soundtrack.

Monsters and nazis, great fun.
I really like this, and I'm tempted to have a bash at this in Max and Mudbox and add a bit of my own design sensibilities to it !!!
