The University of Saint Francis Faculty Alumni Show

Well it is that time of year again for the faculty and alumni of the University of Saint Francis to show off their artistic...stuff...two years ago I showed some storyboards and models for Darkness Aftermath and it was met with less than enthusiastic...stuff. Now, this year, I will be showing the poster below as well as the trailer that Ted and I cut. I'm sure it will be greeted with emotional and critical 'stuff'. I'm not complaining, that's just how it goes there...the cool thing is that the students will be able to see what I have been barking about for two years and it will get us some exposure!

You've managed a lot in a year, hope the rest of the people there realise that. You've all done a huge amount of work, you must be happy to be in editing now.

I like the image at the bottom of the poster, it's pretty creepy.

Thanks. And I thank my team too. They have all put in a lot of work and have been fantastically supportive. It does feel good to be editing. It's been a while since I've edited my own project and its addictive.

And yeah, the bottom image hopefully sets a good tome for the film.

Thanks for the comments and the review of "The Planet", Allen. They were great and I love the fact that you like the line about the non-toxic roots, that always make me laugh.

Your review will be posted on the planet website, in the reviews section - later today.

I'm sure Mark will be on to thank you later when he drags himself out of the editing cell for his daily breath.

Cool. Were any of those explosions at the end actual or were they all CG. Some looked to be actual....

Nearly all the explosions were from a couple of stock footage disks we bought. If you want I can copy (I'm not saying this, and you don't know who I am ;)) them for you and send them over with the effects shots I've done.

Hello there, just thought I would pop past and say hi. I am the 'forgotten' member of Stirton Productions, the one that always ends up getting missed off the press releases, photos etc. etc.

I did the ship designs/models and helped with the effects shots in The Planet, as well as providing transport, food, advice and all the technical computery type support for One Day Removals. Somewhere along the line I got promoted to a Co-Producer for my sins.

I like what you are doing, and can't wait to see the finished article :-)

all the best,

Kerwin.

Kerwin LIVES! That should be the name of your autobiography. Thanks for dropping by. I really did enjoy THE PLANET. I'm having my team watch it this weekend. Great work!

One of our actresses started bringing food to the set and was suddenly elevated to caterer. When her part was over she was sorely missed, as was the food.

Looking forward to removals...what's the next project?

Just to point out that without Kerwin on, the planet, all of the spaceships would have looked like soda cans. He is "Mr Model."

He also looks like flash gordon!

I just saw a Kerwin on the documentary stuff for the Planet. Good guy to have around.
