Thanks for making me look bad Andrew! I guess I will stop trying, at anything. :) Seriously though nice job, now I have to do it with the film.

That's good, it also has a sort of Hammer film "it's really night, honest," look too it.
Keeping the highlights does give the image more depth and will hopefully lessen the effect of encription (the minidv devil).
